 We are thrilled to be hosting an exhibition from one of the most exciting illustration studios in London right now. DAY JOB have had an amazing year as a collective, exhibiting at Pick Me Up at Somerset House, 'Peckham takeover' at the V&A, 'Summer Arts Club' at Peckham Space, 'The Pound Shop' in Selfridges, as well as a host of other group projects and workshops.
...now for December, an instore exhibition & window installation at Lik + Neon!
 Needless to say, we're pretty darn excited!!

South London based illustration studio Day Job, is

 Joshua Checkley, Daniel Clarke, Aaron Cook, Grace Helmer,
 Katie Johnston, Charlene Man, Charlotte Mei, Ella McLean, Peter Rhodes and Victoria Willmott 

who are 10 recent graduates from Camberwell College of Arts.

 Alongside their own freelance work, they collaborate as Day Job on bigger projects like publications, workshops, set design and installations.

They work with a range of media including print, digital, ceramics, and 3D installation, all with an ethos of playfulness and desire to encourage abstract thinking.

Start ticking off your Christmas list!  This November Mr Wingate launches "Hatch", a brand new range of homeware products, including a fine bone china mug and plate, totebags, tea towels and cushions.

Mr Wingate will also be exhibiting his full range of current products including the very popular 'East End Pub Crawl' tea towels and cushions, featuring illustrations of
East London pubs, all individually screen printed by hand at his East London Studio.

Mr Wingate specialises in low volume hand printing which ensures every item is a unique hand crafted product. He has been commissioned by a number of famous stores and institutions to create bespoke products, including a limited edition T-shirt series for Lik + Neon in 2010!

'The Elizabeth Tower - Big Ben' clock by Mr Wingate features an incredibly detailed illustration of possibly London's best known land mark, hand printed onto a laser cut sheet of 3mm birch ply. Measuring 58cm tall and 18cm wide, the clock features an ingenious sweep mechanism, so no ticking noises! The clock comes complete with it's own screenprinted, custom made box, making it easy to wrap as a gift!

2013 really is about all things #CAT.  We are pretty ecstatic to be stocking the new bone china 'Cat Accessories' collection by London based designer ALEX GARNETT, launched at Lik + Neon  for London Design Week September 2013.
We now stock ' Cat face' rings, earrings and necklaces from the collection!

 Alex Garnett has made his mark in contemporary British design, creating furniture, lighting, interior products, T-shirts, jewellery & accessories, all with a strong element of wit & tongue-in-cheek humour. All products are made in England, and the ceramic accessories are handmade by Alex himself.

  

 Alex Garnett's signature waffle 'cone' lights are now a permanent fixture
in our shop window and we have previously stocked his iconic
bone china skull and face rings at Lik + Neon.

 Originally from South England  (and previously one half of the successful design duo 'Mixko'), Alex has exhibited extensively in the uk & worldwide, most recently at Designers Block Milan, MOBO awards 2012, Supermarket Sarah at Selfridges London, and the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York.

We especially like his oversized computer key ('Funkey') stool (currently on display in store usually with Bobby the cat atop), and giant 'Spray Cap' stool.
