VOODOO! exhibition - BROTHERS OF THE STRIPE 6TH -16TH NOV

To continue the darkness of Halloween Brothers of the Stripe will be throwing all sorts of head shrinking visuals in a caldron to produce a ceremony of graphic darkness.... from the 6th November at LIK + NEON all the brothers will unleash a body of work based round the theme of Voodoo.

NICU DUTA aka KITRA - illustrator. Toy designer. Nice stuff maker.

Totally stoked to have the work of illustrator and designer 
Nicu Duta aka KITRA, in the store right now!

 Nicu Duta was born and raised in Targoviste, a small and quiet city 
near Bucharest, Romania and is now based in London.
 Since graduating in 2012 from University of Art Bucharest with an MA in visual arts, he has worked as a multi-disciplinary artist/art director. Nicu Duta works across media in illustration, toy design, street art and graphic design.
 In our windows this month are two of his all over spray painted and hand-penned bottles plus a selection of spray painted, finely penned (and hand cut!) wooden brooches featuring some of his well known beaked characters, leafy plants and big eyed toothy monsters in foliage. Lush!

What's happening at Lik + Neon for LONDON DESIGN WEEK 2014!

It's been a hectic but productive July for Animaux Circus. 

Inbetween creating amazing new works & installing #ForeverSummer  

exhibition at Lik + Neon, the 3-strong creative team, Lana Hughes, 

Margaux Carpentier and Rory Elphick, 

managed to complete a huge signage commission for Lovebox fest, 

#powerofsummer 'battersea in technicolor' workshops and mural 

at Battersea power station then zipped across to W1

 to paint a pub wall for a fancy Mexican cocktail party.

If you didn't make it down to the show you'll be pleased to know that a selection 

of Animaux Circus prints & products will still be available to purchase 

online and instore after the exhibition ends (last day 27 July).
